It's generally commemorated with a bunch of bigoted old men wandering the streets going on about how great things used to be 100s of years ago and burning foreign flags, so he's pretty much there already.

A lot of folks online also swear by the overnight method. Such as putting on a brisket at 10pm so it cooks for 12 hours or so, then in the morning, wrap it, increase temps to 225, and so forth. But then a lot of folks online say it's risky to cook (smoke) overnight unless of course the smoker is away from the house, which I can see if there's a flare up from fat or something. I guess the moral of the story is there are a lot of folks online.

We spent a few minutes down in his music cave with a set of electronic drums, electric and acoustic guitars, a keyboard and he plays them all and does so very well given the amount of time he has spent learning how to play them. Two months on the drums and he is good enough to play in a band. That's impressive to say the least.
